Following graduation, the two of us took an unconventional route by traveling across the country to live in the small town of Smithville, TX. While in Smithville we brought folks of different political views and backgrounds together to talk about some of the pressing issues of our day—from climate change to immigration and healthcare. We believe in the power of citizens who problem-solve from the local level up!
